Ikigai counseling regularly uses its experiential expertise in addiction, detention, trauma, homelessness, recovery, and other experiences to support those who get stuck or support those who work with people who get stuck for whatever reason. Along with theoretical and scientific knowledge, experiential expertise is the third source of knowledge. Ikigai counseling puts its experiential expertise to a professional, well-founded and passionate use. Below are some examples of how and where Ikigai Counseling uses its experience expertise:
BMC consultancy
contributes to the realization of effective, powerful solutions to challenges in the public sector. Ikigai Counseling has contributed to the care & safety training for the Association of Dutch municipalities.
Zaanstad Judicial Complex
receives Ikigai Counseling on a weekly basis to share her experiential expertise with both legal professionals and staff from both ISD departments.
NEXT ST3P
Next ST3P is an organization that focuses on supporting and guiding young people and professionals, within youth care and education, who have to deal with various requests for help. Next ST3P is active in various regions in the Netherlands.
Municipality Zaanstreek-Waterland / Zaandam
has set up a project for the aftercare of ex-offenders and notorious troublemakers. Ikigai Counseling has been asked to contribute to sounding board groups and vision sessions with directors. In addition, Ikigai Counseling is regularly used at the case level.
JC Zeist
Ikigai provides a recovery group every Friday for those who have been ordered to comply with the ISD measure and also conducts individual recovery talks with them.

Training Institute DJI
regularly asks Ikigai Counseling to share its experience expertise in the form of a workshop/presentation within the various locations of DJI.
