Ikigai counseling focuses on recovery from disruptive (addiction)experiences/situations in the broadest sense of the word. In addition, Ikigai counselling offers training courses that are suitable for (care)professionals who work with people who have addiction/life-disrupting experiences.

Professionals who work with people with disruptive (addiction)problems:

Ikigai counseling attaches great importance to people who , as professionals, have to deal with people with disruptive (addiction)problems, that they know who they have in front of them, how disruption & addiction works and how it can be dealt with in a motivating and destigmatizing way. The goal is knowledge transfer through training, presentations and workshops regarding these types of problems. 

Scientific knowledge transfer combined with personal experiences of the trainer with addiction, trauma, crime, detentions and recovery. In addition, combined with professional knowledge from the field. These trainings / presentations are suitable or can be adapted per target group such as healthcare institutions, municipalities, government agencies and other professionals. The trainers come from the field of (forensic) care and bring along practical experience in addition to knowledge.
